Summer School "Coping with Climate Change"

The Summer School organized by the University of Graz, Doctoral Programme ("Doktoratskolleg", DK) Climate Change, invites students who work on a dissertation in the field of coping with climate change to learn and understand processes transferring their research into practical use. A series of lectures, combined with student interaction and hands-on application on the student's actual research, will allow participants to benefit from the experience of the world-leading experts and teachers.

In respect to the DK, the summer school will address research question 3, calling for strategies to respond to climate change. These strategies will cover the establishment of sustainability frameworks, economic solutions as well as address potential policies and policy implementation. While the thematic focus of the summer school lies on mitigation, adaptation will be addressed as well.
