The Doctoral Programme Climate Change and the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change at the University of Graz offer a fully-funded 3-year PhD position on the topic: “Hydrological low-flow dynamics and damage risks due to extreme hot and dry spells in a warming climate”. 30 hours a week; fixed-term employment for the period of 3 years; position to be filled as of now. The PhD student will have the exciting opportunity to contribute together with fellow students to this overarching research question of the interdisciplinary doctoral programme: How should we deal with uncertainties and risks related to hydro-meteorological changes, in particular extreme events, and their associated consequences?
